Mark Berger develops patent portfolios for companies. Berger works with R&D departments, learns their technologies, and drafts their patents applications based on product roadmaps. Berger works directly with company scientists and engineers, in a non-invasive way that provides minimal distraction to their ongoing work. Berger has prosecuted hundreds of patent applications through to issuance, in the US and worldwide.
Berger, a veteran professor of mathematics, was formerly chief scientist at Live Picture and MGI Software Corp. Earlier, Berger was on the faculty at Georgia Institute of Technology. He was an appointed member of the US National Research Council (NRC) Panel for the Assessment of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Berger holds a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and is a registered US patent agent. Berger serves on the board of Iseemedia, Inc.
